About Our Social Skills Program

Subtle Supports' social skills program is designed to assist children at all stages of their development. It enables them to learn to express themselves, communicate effectively with others, and work together as a team. Working with other children or teens to build amazing things while having to negotiate, listen, and work with others can help them develop many transferable skills to be used in the real world.

In conjunction with therapists and industry leaders, we have developed a program to help individuals grow. Subtle Support offers multiple sessions times to participate in the program with four separate age groups. On our state-of-the-art Minecraft server, we have created a fun and safe environment for all players. While session times for the program are set, children and teens can join the server outside of these sessions to continue to grow their skills and improve on their creations.

Age Groups

As children grow their interest change as such we have set 4 key age groups for our sessions.

7 to 10 years old
11 to 14 years old
15 to 17 years old
18 to 21 years old

While these are the standard age groups we understand some participants may be friends who have just had a birthday or miss out on the session their friends are in. If this is the case please contact us to discuss options.

Safety

How many hours a day does your child spend playing Minecraft? In this day and age of a highly connected internet, the anxiety of your child being unsupervised on the internet can be any parent's worst nightmare.

With the goal of safety in mind, the server is kept private, so only those participating in the program can access this. In addition, all chats are monitored by a staff member with access to defuse any issues that may arise. If parents have any concerns, they can reach out directly to our staff via email or phone.

Term Based Program

We offer a program based around the school term that can be anything from 9 to 11 Weeks.

With these programs depending on the term length sessions are charged at $60 per week charged at the start of term.

8 Week Program

With a more streamlined approach to the skill building program we offer an 8 session over 8 week option.

This program is set up in a group and charged at a rate of $62 per week and are run every 3 months.

Ongoing Membership

Once you finish program you may want to remain a member of our server. All services excluding the sessions will remain with access to a safe and growing community. This is charged at a cost of just $6 per week (billed monthly) and you have the option to opt out any time.
